The event was a huge success. </span></p><p class="editor-paragraph" dir="ltr"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">This Thursday is Play Day (rain date is Friday). Your child will be given bbq hot dogs and a milkshake, so please pack less lunch. Many activities are waterbased - the fabulous foam machine and the firefighter hose. Please have your child dress in a school appropriate bathing suit under their clothing. Many students choose to wear a tshirt and shorts instead of a bathing suit. Please send undergarments and an extra set of clothes for after the activities and a bag for wet clothes. You can also send a towel, sunscreen and a hat. On average, more than 14,000 meals and snacks were served each week, over 530,000 throughout the year, with weekly food orders reaching approximately $17,500.</span></p><p class="editor-paragraph"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">We are grateful to the dedicated staff who make these programs possible, and to The Food Sharing Project for continuing to support student well-being across LDSB.
